Cook Islands

by Jeremy Norburn on 23 July 2008
Cook Islands

The Cook Islands are a cluster of 15 islands scattered across 2 million square kilometres of south Pacific Ocean. The people of the Cook Islands are proud of their culture and heritage and have openly chosen to retain and preserve its old ways, which is expressed with song, dance and an easy pace of life.

"Their natural beauty and charm are only matched by the friendliness of its people."
The islands are uncomplicated by the turmoil of the outside world, attracting couples who want to relax and just be. Many of the islands have spectacular lagoons, their perimeters sprinkled with many small, charming and accessible, uninhabited islands and those who return from the Cook Islands say that they now look at life in a completely different way.
