Real Life Honeymoon Feature - Malaysia

Martin and Teresa Bailey got married at the Knowle Country House, Higham in Kent before heading off to Malaysia.

WHERE DID YOU GO AND WHAT DID YOU DO?
We left the Knowle at 7am and arrived at our destination 23.5 hours later. We then flew direct to Singapore (where we spent 4hours) we then went to a Singapore Military Airport and flew to Tioman Island, Malaysia (indiana Jones style!.) on arrival we got picked up by speedboat, where we were taken to paradise and a bottle of chilled champagne overlooking the South China Sea.

The island was very exclusive as we only saw 8 other couples in the time we where there, we spent 12 nights at the Japamala Resort and we had our own private beaches! In the evening we had dinner at the end of the Jetty that overlooked distant silent thunder storms over Singapore and Malaysia. On the last night we had private dining in a beech cave, which was very special.

On our departure we spent 2 nights in Singapore, possibly the cleanest city we've ever been to! It was though, a real culture shock after spending 12 nights on the island.

Having champagne in our own private plunge pool, in our hillside villa overlooking the Islands jungle.
