We honeymooned in Orlando, Florida

WHEN?
June 2010 for two weeks

Why did you choose that destination?
We knew that two weeks on a beach somewhere would have bored us (well, ok, Andy) rigid and so we wanted to have a trip where we could stay in a fabulous hotel but also keep ourselves busy. Where else in the world can you go on safari, take a trip to space, ride a rollercoaster through the Wild West, and visit Hogwarts?
We also wanted shopping, sunshine and good food, and we knew that Orlando would cater to all of these (extensive) requirements.

What did you do?
We spent a lot of time prior to the wedding planning on what we wanted to do. Going to Orlando can be quite a serious operation as you need to make sure you have enough time to do everything and see everything that is on your agenda.
It can be hard work having non-stop fun and pounding the pavements of the theme parks, so we made sure that as well as doing all the usual tourist stuff like Disneyworld and Universal Studios, we also made plenty of time to relax by the amazing pool at our hotel, drink cocktails and have some romantic dinners.
It was important for us to have some time to just chill out and relax, after all the chaos of planning the wedding. It was without a doubt the perfect honeymoon for us, and we want to do it all again right now!

What was your most romantic moment of your honeymoon?
Watching the evening fireworks at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom. Even though we were sharing the experience with thousands of other people, it was still magical and like they had been put on just for us!
