What is SendUsPacking?
SendUsPacking is an online gift list service that enables friends and family to contribute financially to your honeymoon or other big holiday events. SendUsPacking is a great alternative to a traditional wedding gift list or registry and is ideal for couples who find they don’t need any more household items as wedding gifts!

How much does SendUsPacking cost?
SendUsPacking will cost you just £39.99. There is no commission on your contributions and no ongoing fees. Your guests contribute to your PayPal account which you must setup before using our service. We recommend that you upgrade to the PayPal Premium account as this allows you to accept credit and debit cards.

If you buy your holiday through one of our partners then it is likely that they will set up a SendUsPacking list for you for free - be sure to ask them. See more information on our partners please go to our SendUsPacking Partner Page.

How does SendUsPacking work?
Using SendUsPacking is very straightforward:

Step 1 – Set up your gift list online
You build your own holiday itinerary and then put items from it into your gift list, for example “Flights to New York", “Scuba diving lesson” or “Romantic dinner for two on the beach”.

Step 2 – Tell your friends
SendUsPacking has a powerful email system built in to it which allows you to contact all of your friends worldwide to let them know how to contribute to your holiday. For those people that are not on the web, you can print out details which can then be posted to them.

Step 3 – Receive the money
Once you have told your friends all about your online gift list via SendUsPacking they can then start contributing to it via your PayPal account.
You can see all of the contributions made and any messages left for you inside your SendUsPacking account. We’ll even email you when a contribution has been made so you can say thank you that little bit quicker!

How do I get my money?
Simply log in to your PayPal account and withdraw or transfer your funds directly from PayPal into your bank account.

How do I know my money is safe?
Your money goes straight into your PayPal account, it doesn’t come to SendUsPacking. PayPal is a secure online payment method, which allows you to pay or get paid quickly and easily without sharing any of your financial information. For more information please see the PayPal website.

How will people know that I’ve setup my honeymoon gift list?
SendUsPacking has a powerful email system built in to it which allows you to contact all of your friends and tell them how to contribute to your holiday. For those people that are not on the web, you can print out details which can then be posted to them. For example if you are using SendUsPacking to design your honeymoon then you can insert the details into your wedding invitation cards.

Is SendUsPacking a holiday agent/tour operator?
No, we don’t sell holidays. What we do is make it easy and fun for you to set up and manage your online honeymoon gift list and make it simple for your guests to contribute towards your trip of a lifetime.
Although you can build your own holiday, why not try one of our travel partners first who specialise in offering special event holidays or get some ideas from our free Honeymoon Butler service? Then sit back and watch those contributions mount up from your friends and family.

Is SendUsPacking bonded (i.e. Atol member)?
As SendUsPacking don’t sell holidays, we do not need to be bonded. However all of our partners through which you can buy holidays are bonded and hold a high reputation within the travel industry (that’s why we partner with them).

What happens if our holiday is postponed or cancelled?
If your holiday is postponed then you can ‘Pause’ your list on SendUsPacking.com and resume it later. If your holiday is cancelled then unfortunately we cannot refund the cost of your list.

How long will my list stay open for?
SendUsPacking allows your guests to make contributions towards your honeymoon gift list up to 3 months after your event date. This helps a lot, as from our experience the majority of wedding guests don't contribute until a few days before or even on the wedding day.

What happens if all of my items have been contributed to, but I still have guests wishing to make a contribution?
With a SendUsPacking honeymoon gift list you and your guests don't have to worry because there is no limit to how many items you can add to your list, and you can come back and add extra items at any time. Also your guests can ‘over-contribute’ towards any item (for example: it doesn't matter if a guest wants to contribute £150 to an item that costs £100).
